As she got older, she started experimenting with all manner of genres.įrom Middle school through high school, she wrote mostly sci-fi and fantasy but really found my niche and my passion when I started writing romance.

When KM Neuhold was a child, there was nothing that she liked better than to write picture books. She also works at a veterinary clinic and gets to indulge in her love for animals which she has had for the longest time. When she is not reading romance novels or writing them, she can be found spending time with her dog and her husband. She has said that her husband often tells her that the only person that can deal with a strong woman is a real man. She does acknowledge that her novels are about the strong women that love men but do not demure to them, which is what many modern women can relate to. She is also known for writing female characters that will never crumble whenever they face conflict or challenges. KM is also obsessed with nerd culture and has asserted that she often falls in love with the hot and sensuous male lead characters that she writes about in her novels. While she has been writing for most of her life, it was not until 2015 that she got into romance and realized there is nothing else she wanted to write. Neuhold loves to refer to herself as a romance junkie when it comes to writing and reading. While it will never be published, it paved the way for her future career as an author. She wrote her first serious manuscript as a high school student when she ripped off a “Lord of the Rings” storyline.

Neuhold first considered herself a writer when she started spending a lot of time in the study hall to write stories while she was in middle school. At some point, she realized that it was more fun to write down her day dreams than to simply have them run through her mind. In her childhood, she preferred to be left alone with her thoughts and it is from this period that she developed a knack for telling stories. But she soon got fed up with her day job and decided to try her hand at writing which is something she had always wanted to do ever since she was a child. She had always dreamed of becoming a veterinarian and she would go on to become a veterinary assistant for seven years.

She went to UW Madison from where she graduated with a bachelor of science degree in Animal Science. KM Neuhold is a thirty year old mother, wife and dog mom that is best known as a gay romance and contemporary romance author.
